Zewa Feeds Koi Bites K7 is a premium 4 mm floating pellet formulated for the demanding nutritional requirements of Koi Carp (Cyprinus rubrofuscus) — all varieties including Kohaku, Sanke, Showa, and Butterfly Koi. It is the most nutritionally complex formula in the Zewa range.
Krill meal provides natural astaxanthin, the carotenoid behind vivid red and orange pigmentation, alongside omega-3 fatty acids and palatability enhancers. Combined with spirulina and paprica essence, this creates a multi-pigment colour system that intensifies all warm colours in koi varieties.
Proprietary probiotics support the complex gut microbiome of large koi in pond environments. Ponds expose koi to higher pathogen loads than enclosed aquariums, and the probiotic blend supports immune competence, nutrient absorption, and bacterial balance through seasonal temperature fluctuations.
The 4 mm floating pellet encourages active surface feeding, allowing keepers to observe fish and monitor health indicators during feeding. Floating pellets also reduce organic waste accumulation on the pond floor.
