Zewa Feeds Hatch'E is a specialised ornamental fish hatchery feed available in three progressive particle sizes. It is used as the primary nutrition source from first feeding, typically 48–72 hours post-hatch, through the juvenile phase before transitioning to adult species-specific feeds.
Fish larvae are among the most nutritionally vulnerable organisms in aquaculture. Their digestive systems are immature at first feeding, mouth gape is extremely small, and survival through the first 30 days is largely determined by feed quality and particle size. Generic adult feeds are unsuitable — too large, too hard, and nutritionally misbalanced.
The three-stage system matches particle size to mouth gape as fry grow: H1 (0.175–0.3 mm) from first feeding, H2 (0.3–0.5 mm) from 2–3 weeks, and H3 (0.5–0.7 mm) from 4–6 weeks. All three share an identical 48% crude protein formulation with omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids for brain, eye, and nervous system development, plus spirulina to initiate early colour expression.
Suitable for all ornamental fish hatcheries including guppy, tetra, cichlid, betta, barb, and arowana. Each stage available in 1 kg.
